
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Kings In Motion In & Out Movers (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By scheduling a move, submitting information, paying a deposit, or receiving services, the customer (“you”) agrees to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you should not use our services.
1. Services Provided
Kings In Motion In & Out Movers offers residential and commercial moving services including, but not limited to: Local moving, Packing and unpacking, Loading and unloading, Furniture disassembly and reassembly, Transportation of goods, Specialty item handling (with limitations)
We reserve the right to refuse service in unsafe conditions, unlawful situations, or where property/crew may be at risk.
2. Insurance & Liability
Kings In Motion In & Out Movers is a fully insured moving company.Basic Coverage Your move includes standard valuation coverage as required by law. This coverage compensates items based on weight, not replacement value. Limited Liability We are not liable for: Items packed by the customer, Pre-existing damage, Loose items not boxed properly, Damage to particle board or pressboard furniture, Electronics not packed in original/appropriate packaging, Plants, perishables, cash, jewelry, or valuables not disclosed in writing. For high-value items, you must notify us in writing prior to the move.
3. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to: Provide accurate information when booking, Ensure safe access to property (stairs, elevators, parking, etc.) Pack items securely unless packing services are purchased, Be present during the move or appoint a representative, Inspect the truck and property before/after services, Pay for services rendered. If conditions require additional labor, time, or equipment, you may incur additional charges.
4. Quotes, Pricing, & Payment
Quotes
All quotes are estimates based on information provided. Actual costs may vary based on: Move duration, Additional labor, Unexpected obstacles or workload, Additional items not disclosed during booking. Deposits. Deposits may be required to secure a moving date. Deposits are generally non-refundable but may be transferable depending on notice provided (see section 5).Payment Terms Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise specified. We accept major payment methods.Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees or collection actions.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling
To cancel or reschedule, you must notify us as soon as possible.Standard Policy Cancelling 48+ hours before the move: deposit may be transferred to a new date. Cancelling within 48 hours: deposit is forfeited. Same-day cancellation: additional charges may apply. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or events outside our control.
6. Damages & Claims All claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the completed move. We may request: Photos, Documentation, Proof of value, Failure to file within the specified window may void your claim.
7. Property Access & Safety
We reserve the right to stop work if: Conditions are unsafe, There is risk of injury, Weather creates hazards, Illegal activity is present, You are responsible for ensuring pathways are clear and safe for movers.
8. Prohibited Items
We do not transport: Hazardous materials, Explosives, Chemicals, Weapons (unless legal and disclosed), Perishables, Pets, Illegal substances, Failure to disclose may result in termination of services without refund.
9. Website & Lead Information
When you contact us through our website or marketing channels:You consent to being contacted for quotes, scheduling, and promotional messages. Your data is stored for internal use and promotional communication. We do not sell your information to third parties. This is further detailed in our Privacy Policy.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by Texas law, Kings In Motion In & Out Movers is not liable for: Indirect or consequential damages, Loss of income or business, Emotional or sentimental value of items, Damage caused by improper customer packing, Delays beyond our control, Our liability is limited to the valuation coverage selected for the move.
11. Right to Refuse Service
We may refuse or discontinue service at our discretion, including but not limited to:
- Unsafe conditions
- Abusive behavior
- Non-payment
- Illegal or unethical circumstances
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, applicable to agreements made and performed within the state.
Any disputes shall be resolved in courts located in Travis County, Texas.
13. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
